Innovation from starboard again! This performance race board is the perfect board for riders that are wanting speed but with that touch of extra stability. 

The starboard ‘Wall’ brings to the market something no one else has designed.. A 4.7-thick performance race with a side wall.. IN AN INFLATABLE!!!!. 

The Starboard ‘Wall’ is incredibly well made and so will support heavier riders but as this board is 4.7 thick this board opens the gateway to riders who are lighter and want a longer board that has a thinner rail..

At 28’ and 30” wide these boards are not what we would call a true race board but they are a performance race, and at 28” wide and 30” wide they really open up the sport allowing ‘everyone’ to really enjoy faster paddleboarding and racing without the risk of constantly falling in which is a major issue (for a lot of riders) in anything under 28” wide.

The Starboard ‘Wall’ is a great board for all riders with a bit of balance that want to go faster, but riders that are super light and under 5’8 are really going to enjoy the thinner rail tech on this board.

We don’t think this board is designed for ultra heavy riders but that’s not a massive issue as there are some fabulous boards on the market filling that gap, But this board will be a game changer for the rider under 80kg and particularly those really light riders that are desperate to have a longer race board that is 4.7 thick

THE OUTLINE SHAPE
Easy to hold the paddle close & vertical, which improves tracking and reduces the amount of times you have to switch the paddle from side to side when paddling.

CENTER STRINGER
Increases the stiffness and reflex sensation of the board at the standing area, right where it’s needed.

2″ STIFFENING SIDE WALL
Added 2” side walls on top of the 4.75” board increase the stiffness and rigidity of the board. It also provides secondary stability and extra volume for more buoyancy.

4.75″ BACK RAILS
Allow for easier and more comfortable step back turning, since it is easier to sink the tail.

RAIL EDGE TECHNOLOGY
Creates a sharp edge for the water to release smoothly for optimal glide and speed.

RECESSED STANDING AREA
Lowers the paddlers centre of gravity for increased stability and control.

RECESSED STORAGE COMPARTMENT WITH BUNGEE TIE DOWN
Positioned just in front of the feet making it easy and fast to access any gear.
Recessing the compartment improves aerodynamics for a faster glide, limits water flushing in and makes it more secure to store gear.

RAIL STEERING
The added side walls give extra comfort and control when rail steering, so it is easier to turn the board around without the need to step back to the tail.

Fixed hose and manometer position when inflating.• 10% more efficient thanks to the redesigned piston and outside tube for the air outlet. Plus, double and single action pumping modes and wider removable foot base that increases stability when pumping.• The base and handle are made from upcycled fishing nets.

RECYCLED EVA DECK PAD
We are shifting toward recycled EVA deck pads from post industrial EVA waste, increasing UV protection & reducing the use of petroleum.

LIGHTWEIGHT LEASH
– At only 70g, the leash is incredibly lightweight so that it doesn’t interfere when paddling and saves weight when traveling.
– Soft cushioning means it will compress and flatten when stood on.
– Easy to attach to the leash ring without needing any excess rope loop like on most other leashes.
– The leash cuff is simple to adjust the tightness and is made from Yulex, a natural rubber with 80% less carbon footprint than normal neoprene.
